Rocks, Yoga, and a Little Peace

I’m teaching three classes this term–definitely a full load, but more so because two are writing intensive and the other is technology intensive. I’m busy. I’m so busy that I have to schedule my yoga classes on my phone to remember to take a class. I love yoga, but sometimes a little voice says, “Oh you need that extra hour today to review papers, or post notes or….” But I have to squelch that because I know practicing yoga grounds me and makes me more creative and effective in the classroom (and everywhere else).

As one of my  yoga teacher reminded me, the eating season is over. For Catholics that is especially true today.

Enjoy your Lenten season.

Namaste.
