Taking a cue from one of my students, Miss Angeleen, I’m just going to make a list of what I’d like to be writing about…
- MNSCU’s efforts to reach out to under represented students via a F & F campaign and a new website: Yes You Can from Franke+Fiorella, you can read more about the project on their case studies page. This made me think of the creative work my students did last week in class applying St. Kate’s Mission to reaching students.
- My evening class of Promotional Communications had the brilliant of idea of utilizing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to link St. Catherine University and the search term “Social Justice” via a social media plan and Google Ad Words.
- US Bank’s recent initiative to let consumers pay with their iPhone, formally known as wireless technologies combined with mobile phones. A former colleague at the Bank, Dominic Venturo was recently featured in the Minneapolis Star & Tribune talking about this new mobile payment technology, known as AccelaPay.
- Strategic Design for business as presented in the Star Tribune about Little & Co: innovative solutions and new ways of looking at advertising.
Franke+Fiorella seem to be quite influential. They also handled the Cargill logo change.
I love the look of the home page on “Yes You Can” and I think they cleverly attached them to the 2008 presidential campaign of Obama. Obama’s camp did a great job of motivating the younger generation on a more wide-scale change, I love how they applied that to a small-scale individual change. Pure awesome.
Angeleen, well where do you think I heard about them? From your blog, of course!!!
